hi - i have been considering getting a blue ram and have been reading up on them. how difficult is the care? are they a fussy fish on eating? thanks

Blue rams were my first cichlid. It's fun to watch breeding pairs to quarrel with each defend territories. They spawned for me many times, but I have never been able to raise the fry. They just died off like flies or eaten by the parents. What is your trick to keep parents and fry thriving?

This is my first breeding attempt sorry can't answer your questions yet feeding fbs and fbw and crushed flake I have a pair of gbr and 2 unsexed Bolivian rams in a 30 gl hopefully do another mini tank with wild type Agassizi in the near future

It may help if you can tell me what pH and temperature are you keeping your rams.

Like I said u should be asking someone more educated with these fish I run 1400 gal in my fish room use well water don't test water if fish are happy and healthy no need temp don't have thermometers on tanks I just put back of hand to glass a feel temp through glass
