i have a 45 gallon tall aquarium - and so far my plan for tank is as follows:

2 or 3 german blue rams
6-10 neon tetras
3 small bottom dwelling catfish
2 angel fish

all ive ever had before is pufferfish, so im kind of new to the community thing.......
any suggestions welcomed!!!

For small bottom dwelling catfish you could do cories and you could do like 6 or 7 cories. Instead of German rams do Bolivian they are more hardy and IMO look better

sounds pretty good, I have been a little curious how angels and rams get along? I was considering putting my blue rams in my planted angel tank. it has tetras and cory's too.

Mine got along great. The angels are more of a top water fish while the rams are bottom so rarely any interaction between the two. Except when food was involved

yah i think it it will add alot of dimension to the tank, the angels on top, the rams in the middle, the tetras all around and the catfish on thr bottom,

either that or i want to get an abei puffer...any thoughts?
