Me (Friday morning, planning out my weekend chore list): well I guess since the vittata are ***holes and can't live in the SA community, I don't have to wait for their quarantine to end. I'll rescape the 125 this weekend and move the crew in!

German rams: the F you will. We're going to pair up and spawn this afternoon for the first time ever.

No one is bothering the eggs at all and while the photos make them look kind of white, it's been 24 hours and they all still look viable. So I guess I wait a few days and see what comes of it 🤷‍♀️

Congrats
You may lose a few to the Congo Tetra. Do you have any catfish in the aquarium?

No congos. There's 9 diamond tetras in there, they're pretty darn peaceable types but I've no doubt if they get to the free swimming stage they'll be eaten by most everything in the tank lol. If they actually hatch I'll come up with a plan.

Yep, they're officially wiggling as of today's check in during dinner. Guess move date is now TBD lol.

  • Haha
