I just got 4 new baby monos and they wont take anything but live feeders. They will bite it and then spit it back out as fast as it went in.... i starved them for almost 2 days now but still same results..... they are all 2"-2.5" and PICKY EATERS!!!
any advices is appreciated Thanks!

try krill or blood worms I have my temensis eating krill I'm actually trying the starvation tactic myself

Starve them for 2 more then get them with some other pellet eatin fish

no need to starve.... hand feed the feeder fish too them :) then try krill then drop the krill in then try pellets ;) thats what i'm doing so far i have them on krill :)

alright thanks guys, just fed them shrimp and they are sometimes taking them and sometimes just spitting them back out.

they get use too it :)

there to small to be on pellets.. wait till they are 5-7 inches.... feed them black worms feepers, silver sides , market shrimp ect

mine will eat pellets but i don't have cash to pay for all those pellets they go through since they are so small :)

i usally soak the pellets until they are very very soft then i try feeding it to them. IMO i think it will be safer for baby fishes and will be easier for them to swallow. Just a method i use to try and get baby fishes on pellets. LOL my bettas are on pellets too. :)

yea .. i soak them too, but if you have to starve them to get them on pellets .. 2.5 inches is too small
