. If it has proper feeding and wc. I would say 1"/month. Max out at 18"-20"? The best food for cichla is pellets .

So 1" a month until it 18-20? It doesn't slow down after it hits a certain size like most fish ?

They get to be 30" in the wild. You should graduate the fish to a bigger tank as necessary or it will look dwarfed… The one I pictured is about 16" & in a 300 gallon. It is ready to move to a bigger tank soon.
