Hey Guys and Gals. Its always amazing to see such a large collection of aquarists all in one place.
Well I have been back in the hobby now for 4 years after about 6years away from it all.
At the Moment I have a 60Gal Long Hex, Fluval 405 filter, 2x75 Watt lights, which is currently set up as a pretty standard Planted, community tank with Ram Cichlids, Glass Catfish, an array of the tetra family(Skirted Phantoms, Neons), rasboras, otto cats, siamese algae eater, Butterfly loaches and even bamboo shrimp. I have got pics, but i am not at my home PC at the mo.
I thought that i would start back into the hobby with a community tank, but i am already getting bored with the setup. It is so tranquil in there the fish look asleep while they are swiming.
As a result I am in the process of revamping the tank a little in preporation to accomodate Dwarf cichlids. So if anyone has any pointers as to where i can get a relaiable source of Healthy Dwarfs please let me know.. as a while ago i bought a pair of Apistogramma agassizi from this place in Manhattan NY for almost $60 and they died after 3 days and the shop wouldnt even exchange the fish eventhough my water paramaters were perfect across the board.
Thanks
Don
