I'm getting a 120 gallon on tuesday, It has a small hole in it and I already happen to have the silicone to fix it. That being said, I was wondering what sort of filter I should buy. I have a 20 gallon with a few juvenile cichlids in it. After looking at some of the pictures of peoples tanks I really want the tank to have a peacock bass. I have two texas cichlids and a few convicts in my 20 gallon, that I'm looking to move into the bigger tank. I want the filter to be quiet, because I'm looking to put the tank in the Condo that I'm moving in to, thanks.

Sorry, pbass grow too big for that tank. I suggest plugging the hole with a square of glass rated for your size tank and silicone it over the hole.

well that sucks. Maybe my next tank :irked:. Do you know what kind of filter would do what I want. I think the tank has an overflow.

A wet/dry sump filter. Similar to one of these: Best biological filter. I don't care what people say, they are definitely better than canisters.
