I'm getting a reef-ready 150 gallon, 48lx24wx30h.
Filtration that will be included with it:
sump (looks like it'd be about 15-20g completely full)
600gph @ 4' pump
1050gph koralia
phosban reactor

I'm wondering if I need anything else? Do I need a lower-level intake (like from a canister filter) in addition to the overflow?

Initial stock will be:
1 8-9" bichir
3 6-7" bichirs
3 12" ropefish (very skinny fish)
5 3.5" congo tetras
1 6" african brown knife

I'm hoping to add a lot more (maybe 6-8 more) congo tetras, a couple Ctenopoma acutirostre, possibly two more ropes, and MAYBE another bichir.

Current tank is 75 with the above initial stock, 400gph hob and 260gph canister, not TOO much trouble with waste settling, but could be better.
