Getting a 240 Gallon tank "need some help"

Hey i'm getting a 240 gallon aquarium with stand for 400$ brand new, from this older guy. 72"x24"x32", needing some help on what type of current flo system i would need, and what type of filtration system to have on a 240 gallon tank since ive only ever had a 60g. i'm also wondering how these drill holes would work with a filtration system. I'm also wondering if i have alot of room for the fish that i have in my 60g tank now to move them into a 240g and still have room for them to grow full size and if i can put any more fish in the 240g requiring that they dont get to big. Currenty in my 60g tank i have (x1 5.5 inch saber tusk payara) (x2 4 to 4.5 inch african pike odeo) (x1 6 inch hujeta silver gar) ps the african pike school with the hujeta (x1 8 inch tiger shovelnose cat) (x1 4.5 inch pleco) (x1 3.5 inch gold gourami) (x1 4 inch rainbow shark whitch has been removed because or over agressive behaviour(x1 4 inch african butterfly) (x1 4 inch id shark) (x2 3 and 3.5 inchers pictus catfish) so please tell me what you think

How old is the OLDER guy and how OLD are you?

are you wanting to do a sump wet/dry filter or a canister, if canister i would suggest 2 fluval fx5's just because i like having 2 filters on my tanks and if you shop around you can get them both and filter material new for around $500 and you will be up and running in less than an hour and have more than enough filtration for that tank, i also like canisters because generally they are a little quieter than sump set-ups, but if you aren't worried about a little noise than the sump/wet/dry setup can offer the best combination of both mechanical and bio-filtration just make sure your pump is at a minimum moving the tanks water 3x an hour i prefer around 5-7x an hour.
