I'm getting a Goonch cat soon. I was wondering if it was any diffrent from keeping other large cats. In Singapore heating isn't an issue so won't be having problems with that. I have experience with other large cats such as TSN and Marble cats.

Agreed, i attach an airline to a watercirculator, then put it almost at the bottom of the tank, blowing horizontal over the bottom and my goonches love it, they sit right in front of it ... also a little cave around the powerhead will help them settle in as they seem to be much more active at night, and kind of hide from the light during the day

Also know that depending on the species of goonch, not worrying about heating could be a good or a bad thing. If you're getting a Thai goonch, that's good cuz they prefer warm water but if you're getting an Indian, they prefer much cooler water in the low 60's
