I have a 90g with one 4.5" EBJD in it right now, and my LFS just got in some long finned O's, which I e wanted for a long time now. They both tiger, and albino ones. Aside from aesthetics, is there any difference between these two that I should be aware of? (Hardiness, aggression, size, predisposition to disease, ect)

Also, might it be possible to keep TWO of them in the 90g with my EBJD?

Thanks for your help!

2 oscars in there long term? no. short term? sure.

the oscar will out grow the ebjd so fast.

I know, but I've never had problems keeping adult EBJDs with a single Oscar. With the two Oscars I was more worried about it being a filtration issue.

in a year the bioload will be a problem. doesnt matter how many filters you have on the aquarium haha.

I've got an Oscar and a JD in a 75. They are great together.

Nitrates aren't an issue, but it's a constant battle to keep them low. Being that a 90 isn't much bigger than a 75 I can tell you that 2 oscars is a no go.

The Oscar and JD thing can work depending on the temperament of your fish. My oscar ignores anything too big to fit into his mouth.
