Got a deal for a 90g with a hood for $135. I'm going to build a stand for it.

I was thinking of turning it into a reef tank, but I'm not sure if I have the money to do it right now. My main option is to put my JD into it (she's 6" and hasn't grown in a year. She's constantly harassed in my 100g.)

I'm wondering of some fish that I can put in there. She's one of the most mellow fish i've seen and can't hold her own against anything. She's been raised with fish as small as 0.5" when she was 6" with no aggression at all, so size really doesn't matter with her; never has.

I'm trying to think of inhabitants in it, but there's so many. I'm thinking a couple calmer geophagus / earth eaters, maybe a Threadfin or Jurupari. Maybe a school of tiger barbs (I'm not sure about this), some sort of fancy pleco, what else would you suggest? If not the JD in the tank, what would you suggest?

2 severums and ure jd

This is the stock list I was thinking:

1x Jack Dempsey
1x Threadfin Geophagus
1x Geophagus Jurupari
1x Kirin Parrot Fish
1x Parrot Fish

1x Blue Phantom Pleco (L128) (?)
3x Pictus Catfish (?)
6x Tiger Barbs (?)

** (?) - Unknown if and which ones I'd get.

My girlfriend decided on the stock as it's going to be her tank.

1x Kirin Parrot Fish
1x Jurupari
1x JD
1x Acarichthys heckelii
2x Pictus Catfish
1x L-168 (Butterfly Pleco)
6x Tiger Barbs
6x Bleeding Heart Tetras

Keep in mind the JD is 6", not territorial, not aggressive, and rarely eats. It will not be a problem in this tank. Thoughts on stock?

African cichlids are cool. As are bichirs ive kept both in a 90 with success.
