Getting a new Catfish

Hi all, Next week or so I will be getting a new catfish, the official name is a leiarius pictus, I have no Idea what the street name is. Here is a pic, just wanted to see if there is any other members out there that can post up some pics and information about yours. feeding habits, attitude, what they like to eat and anything thing else. I'm getting mine at 25 to 30 Cm, which is a must or he would be killed in my tank. OK thanks All

My god. I am jealous of you. That is one of the few fish that i would drop serious money to get my hands on. For me they are one of the most beautiful catfish.

Definately not a marble, these guys dont get much bigger than 2ft. but can be very territorial so a large tank is a must. Absolutely gorgeous, good luck, and if you ever get tired of it....;)
 
Common name: Sailfin pim, painted catfish, saddle catfish, sailfin marbled catfish

Grows to a maximum of 76 cm / 30 inches...

cool thanks guys, ya I did my net search on him, got my mumbo Jumbo off there, just wanted to see if anyone had one of these, COOL
 
I just got back from the LFS, and it looking like next week he will be coming in. Going to be a bit smaller than I wanted, will be around 15 to 18 CM, so I will have to have a good look at him. His price will be 120 Euro, around 162 dollars.
I might need to let him get a little bigger before bringing him home, I really don't want my Aro, or CK to eat him. Ok I will post up some pics when I do get him.

Thats good new's I dint want a catfish that would just take over my whole tank.
