You may reconsider the Iphone when you read about Apples latest brain child of updating them with a spyware to prevent "jail breaking" them and freeing yourself from Apple with the Iphone bonuses.
Apparently it means Apple can take pics silently using it so they can identify you without you knowing, can listen into calls and trawl through your phone and if they find something they don't like they reset the phone. Basically forcing you to buy Apple programs and content whilst making up a file on you without your knowledge. Just google "spyware to prevent jailbreaking the Iphone".
It is a slim chance they will actually try to implement it but just the idea has turned the wife and myself from Iphones permanently for our next mobile upgrade.
While this type of spyware is illegal, many courts have found that jailbreaking Iphones is not.
OP, Samsung phones seem to be amazing at the moment. My wife and I are both using the Samsung Jet and the touch screen is great, accurate and tough. If that is a sign of how good their newer phones will be/are then I'm sold. We are both looking towards Samsung for our next upgrade now.
get a cheap a** phone and use the money to buy fish/fish food/fish accessories thats what i would do
