Getting a new setup

I am finally upgrading my 55 gal to a 150 so right now I'm on the look out for a used tank. What do you guys think I should look out for? Also how do I clean the tank once I get it? Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

Look out for any chips cracks scratches etc. make sure its ment for aquarium use and can hold up water. Renember just because the seler says it can hold water dont mean it definetly able to. And check the mfk marketplace

Thanks for the advice, i have one more question. How bout cleaning the tank if its been sitting around in somebody's garage? Would a towel as some water work?

I would just use as hot of water as you could stand to have your hand in. Don't use any cleaners.
