GETTING A NEW TANK YAY ( and no its not over 29 gallons )

i can either get a 14 gallon or a 10 gallon on the 2nd of july ( i told my uncle my friend russell wants his 5 back ( which he does lol ) and asked if i can get another tank to replace that one for my JB pair but i may use the 10 or 14 ( dunno which oone yet, thats where u guys come in ) but yah i may either put my male con in the 14 or 10 or my pair of convict JBs..

so what do u guys think i should get??

another note. if i do put my convict male in there i may be getting him a partner ( not a female con ) but i think either a firemouth or another male con, which do u guys think??

so hers the thing:
10 gallon or 14 gallon? 10 dollars in differences. 30.00 for a 10 setup or 40.00 for a 14 setup.
and
if i put my male con in there should i get another male con or a firemouth ( has to be one of them or sumtin else like dithers )
 
you've been on this forum for over a year by now, right? and you don't get that a male con is too big for a 10 (or a 14) gallon tank. and then you ask if you can put in another con or a firemouth. have you read anything that has been typed in your threads, or do you just post pics, and skip the whole learning and improving part of fish keeping?
 
well the 14 gallon is 12 inches wide and about 18 inches long so yah i think it should work if i do the con alone but i may just put the pair of JB cons in there.
 
Dude quit wasting money on small tanks ...Save up and get a tank your fish will be comfortable in .But i know to you i sound like charlie browns teacher
 
I would not spend $30 on a 10 gallon tank. If you are patient you should be able to find a nice deal on a 55 gallon tank, have you tried your local craiglist?
 
i cant get a 55 for the last time. and all teh negitive comments is ruining my happyness. 14 gallon isbig enuf for a breeding pair of jb cons that max out at 4 inches. and my male con is staying in the 29 and im getting a firemouth for him to. and thats all that will be in the 29
