Getting an Ornate in a couple of days

depends on how big the ornate would be but the size of those fish, it should be fine with them unless the ornate is alot bigger

Not sure, but the width in the pics in the other thread, I would say too small.
But maybe thats just me. (I like my Bichirs to more than enough room.)

its a 55 gal octogon

Too small for Polypterus.
You may get away with 1 or 2 smaller Senegalus, but forget lower jaws such as Endlicheri, Lapradei etc.

Sweet! You have nice lap and endli. An ornate will be great to add. Love my ornate. He walks around on his front fins. It's pretty funny to watch.
