Getting back into FH

So I just got a Male SRD back from a friend 2 days ago. He definitely wasn't taking care of him like he should. Water quality was very pour, crap food, his color is way washed out from when I had him originally, got cloudy eyes, etc.
But I will say that his kok is growing nicely and his fins look amazing!!
So what I've done to start rehabbing him:
1) water changes every other day
2) better food, a.k.a NLS and Sumo growth
3) raised temp and put salt
4) put a target fish in tank to get him in the right frame of mind

Am I missing anything??

that cloudy eyes looks like some kind of bacterial infection man and tht is what i get on first. nmbr (1) and (2) is what i do most for now if i were u. get some medications if he doesnt get better. done that then you can focus on pumping up his colors back ;)

He is starting to look better. Slowly but surely. Cloudy eyes are going away. Color is getting deeper. His appetite is getting better. And his Flowerhorn personality is starting to show through again.
