Wow. its been over a year since i have logged in. holy crap. Got wrapped up in another hobby (building bass guitars in woodshop, still doing it, getting pretty good!) Hoping to see some familiar members. So i walk into the pet store for the 1st time in a while, saw fish that i had always wanted when i was more into the hobby, but it had bee so long that the thought had even crossed my mind, i couldn't remember what they were, and i used to have them memerized by scientific name!
Well, i went home, traded out what i didn't want (all but a pictus catfish, a dime sized convict, and an 8" bloodparrot) for a giant albino aquatic frog slightly smaller than my hand. I belive they called it a golden (albino) african clawed frog. I sat for almost 2 hours watching the frog and laughing. that thing was so fat, its skin jiggles/flaps when it swims. it layed down next to the directional flow, and just jiggled like crazy. whenever the curious pictus would swim by, it would flap its arms like crazy. it ate in the same manner, scooping it into its larger mouth. So now i decided to get back into it, and was wondering what can go into the tanks, since i have forgot.
Ok, srry about rambling on. was wanting some oddballs, that aren't insanely aggresive with each other (like, to the pont that i have to try and separate them do to fightling). compatible with the large slightly aggressive parrot, and insano frog (lol), and electric catfish (still looking for one, but i want the tank to be ready!!). like bichers (wow finaly a name i remember!), or something. Good to be back. thanx
