getting back into my favorite hobby

Hey everybody, im trying to get back into my hoobby but id like some input. im deciding between a saltwater or frershwater tank, large between 100-180 gallons. im just not sure whether i should do aquarium sharks like port jacksons or banded sharks. or if i do freshwater, i was planning on peacock bass, gar and some red tail catfish for some exotic fish. please let me know with your input.

I'd do freshwater, but you won't be able to keep RTC in a 180 gallon..

You can't keep any of those fishes for life in aquariums in that size range plus some of the fishes that you mentioned are illegal to keep in your state.

saltwater is more expensive. the equipment and the fish arnt cheap. plus every time you do a water change, you gotta have salt, ro water, and patience. with freshwater all you need is some tap water and some water conditioner. but saltwater has awesome looking fish though!

fresh water soo you can do live plant or if not ill put a pair of fastae in your tank
