Not quite sure how old these guys are...Im sure I could figure it out tho. The xingu came from the first import of f1s into the US when Superlaz imported them. I was super bass crazy then. The intermedia are cool but they werent a must have for me. These days I could just have a get a group of 5 or so real Rio Negro Orino's....that would make me content. SOme nice orino's take the cake for me.

The kelberi was from some in-out vendor that was gone really quick after pulling a fast one selling these cb tocantins as wc. Silly me. Why did I order wc from some guy with no rep? DUmby!? Well he still turned out really nice and grew like a weed. He is probably close to 2.5-3 years old. Grew quick but I think my xingu is getting another little spurt and about to pass him up.

Looking good brother, are these your only two? You're not a dummy at all, as Ken says you can polish a third or ruin diamond. I value my experiences dealing with cichla both the good and the bad and I'm in it for the long haul until I achieve a collection that I feel that I can't exceed.

I have a bahia in there as well but he is a punching bag and doesnt truly get to shine. I sold off all my other bass. Im always on the hunt for some really nice orino's. But these days Ive been doing more fly fishing than fish keeping. I have learned a lot keeping bass....it seems they are a fad fish for most. I will always appreciate some nice cichla. But when you see a tank of atleast 500g with some real bruisers it really grabs your attention. bassguy bassguy let me know when I can come steal a chunky orino from ya.

Every year that I've known you, you're more into fishing than fishkeeping for part of the year lol. That's just the nature of the beast having multiple hobbies.
