Getting Endli Bichir Tommorow

I am getting 11" endli tommorow from a guy i know he selling for 35 it already eats guppies i dont know if it eats anything else. This will be my first bichir so tips would be usefull. Also is a 50 gallon okay for it to live in?

could they be compatible with a pair of pike cichleds.

depends on the type of pike.
are they a breeding pair?
should have at least a 120 wide in the long run.
mine eat anything.

dont know what type they are. Just know they wont go in anytime soon. They have red fins a black stripe down their backs and have sometimes a marbling on their heads.

Also can they crawl out?

for you pike id, read my posts, they wont crawl out but are pretty good jumpers..
they will deffinitely out grow the pikes you have they look like some type of saxatilis

great price for a big endli.

Great price for an Endli that size. You need a minimum 60 gallon size tank but 125 is preferrable. Endli can be train to eat sinking pellets and shrimps. They are bottom feeders so sinking pellets would work best. Endli are slow eaters so getting the food to them can be a challenge if you have aggressive feeding tankmates.
