in the next couple of weeks I will get a flying gecko for my 40 long vivarium. right now it has a 4" african mudskipper, a hibernating firebellyed toad, and a red eared slider turtle the size of a silver dollar. I have aquarium plants hanging from the tops. need help with info

Flying geckos are pretty cool. Gets about 6", eats bugs, typical gecko.

Give the gecko lots of climbing room. I would also reconsider the tankmates, as the turtle will start tryin to take bites out of the rest of them at some point. Really cool tank you got goin on though, with a little bit of everything (fish and herps).

About 30 years ago I had one. It was very hardy and was an escape artist. It was hard to catch. It could climb qickly up a wall and as soon as would reach for it , it would jump and glide to the other side of the room. My brother who shared a room with me hated it. I would make sure it wasn't keep in too humid of an environment. It's not an amphibian. They will gladly eat live crickets and will drink water off plants and the sides of the tank. They are not pretty but are neat. They won't hesitant to bite you if you grab them, but the bite doesn't hurt, just scares the heck out of you.
Good luck.
