So I have been battling issues with my Jardini on and off for a year with tail rot. I came to the conclusion that he was biting his own tail this causing the issue. After adding 15 Tiger Barbs to the tank he has chilled out. Bit through the course of all the medication and treatments his eating got off course. So now the only thing he is eating are crickets. What is your advice to get him on pellets or something more nutrious? He is approximately 15" and eats 20+ crickets a day. Thank you.

He dos not eat the tiger barbs? Mine would eat them all lol .

I'm new to arose. I have a jardini for almost 1 year, water super clean and a current. Dem lighting and 15 silver dollars to chase. . Eats anything I give him.
Try to teach him to take the cricket's out of your fingers. Soon he will learn to take other foods out of your fingers or a spoon.
I do this with my baby P. Bass and I did this with my Jardini . He's about the size of yours about 14in. Hope this helps.

Sorry for the blurry pics. My phone dos not like fish tanks.lol.

Thank you, he has always been skittish. Never has bothered the tiger barbs. They have been together for about two months. My camera isn't the best either. What size tank do you have yours in. I am thinking of building a larger tank. Current tank is 58" X 23" X 24" inside measurements.

Thank you, I am very impressed with your tank as well. Are your tanks glass or plywood? Peacock bass are awesome fish. I have a 240 that I have a Ripsaw and some silver dollars in. I need to build a large tank or re-home the Ripsaw. I was thinking of using double thickness 1" superfly (very sense plywood). Instead of 2x4. I need to minimize the actual outside dimensions. But wasn't sure how large i could go with that.
