I just got 3 mono pb last week and I was told they were pellet trained. The bass are 3-5". I have feed them bloodworms and krill with no problem but they will not touch a pellet. I have used hikara cichlid gold, food sticks, and massivore. Any ideas on getting them to take the pellets? It seems as if they are very skittish when I approach the tank to feed. I dont want to starve them to long and possibly kill them.

I tried mixing pellets when I gave them bloodworms this morning. No interest.

Did another feeding tonight and they snatched up the krill like it was going out of style. I tried throwing in food sticks and they wouldn't even sniff them. Will the krill give them enough nutrition? Any suggestion would be helpful. I have read the previous post about NLS foods.

Crush up a couple food sticks, and let it thaw with the frozen krill. Feed them with this process a couple times, then slowly increase the size of the food sticks. Once they start to each the smaller pieces of food sticks, you'll be able to put the food sticks in first...then dump the krill in afterwards to make them go crazy!

Thanks for the reply. I will give this a try in the next feeding. Hopefully it will work because I want these guys eating pellets and not live feeders. My first two bass were raised strictly on feeders and really regret the outcome.
