Getting my dream tank

Can't believe it but I came across a sale in my area of a guy selling his 500 gallon 82"x48"24" deep tank. I'll be picking it up next week. This tank will be to house my vieja species in. I'll have a 90 gallon sump for this tank as well. It'll be a huge tease not being able to set it up until next year when we buy our new home but they'll give me plenty of time to pretty it up and make the stand a lot nicer. I'll be taking out that big coral insert or may possibly keep it in and just take the coral pieces off it, repaint it and make it look like freshwater rock. We will see. I'll probably just remove it so there's more room in the tank and I enjoy just adding nice large pieces of driftwood and rock anyways.

love it, beautiful tank. I think I myself would have liked it better if it were 24 high and 48 wide thou. Cleaning a 48 in deep tank is a pain sometimes.
Still a very nice find.

Ya it'll be kind of a pain to clean but it's still worth it. It's not work when you're enjoying it haha. And ya the insert is coming out for sure. It'll be pretty nice

I did the math and this tank is 408 gallons not 500 but still plenty big for my liking

correction, its 460 gallons. Its 27 inches deep not 24. did the calculations today
