IN YOUR HEAD
in the morning i will get my first peacock bass:headbang2... they are a fish i have wanted for a long time...it is an ocellaris(spell)...what could i expect for a growth rate and ease of transfure to frozen...would it be similar to a large mouth bass? what is the max size for this sp. of pbass i am confused with all the sp.

how big is the fish? ocellaris can eaily reach 24" in captivity. and they could get 12-15" within a year...

what size tank you keepin them in? unless you have something thats well over 2,000g you wont see those sizes in the average tank. despite what people think, fish do grow to the size of their environment ;)

to start, a 55 or 20...if 20 first then 55 then 180...if they get big enough for my tsns not to eat then my pond...sooting for a 10'x8' or a 10'x10' in the end...will have atleast a 8'x4' for the mid ground and my one of my ray breeding projects...as for fish growing to the environment that is 1/2 true...i am getting only one...to start...i had to choose due to funds 3 silver aros- no bass, no aros-3 bass, i went with 2 aros-1 bass...as i am going to try to breed aros aswell as other hard to breed fishes

where the fish? did i miss something?

sounds like somebody is trying to get their post count up LOL

must be...lol cause i missed it to and i'm the op...maybe they can see into the future as i will post a pick tomarrow...i will see if the bass is bigger then 3" as my order is $18 more then i expexted...or they sent me more then one pbass, as the guy kinda rushed me and he might have thought i said 3 rays, 2 aros and 2 bass...atleast i hope it is this as i would hate to pay fed-ex more money
