You may want to grow it out a bit before introducing to the main tank. Some of the bigger cichlids or even the poly might be an issue for a small pup like that. All depends on personalities of the fish.
Thanks, didn't see your reply before I got the pup today. But I went ahead and set up my 125g couple days ago just for the ray. Doing good so far and ate some worms today. Here's couple pics of her.
Best to keep the little girl on her own for a bit. Cichlids can be a real problem for any ray but especially a young one. Grow her up, and then put her in. With good food and water, she will put on that size in no time
Yes cycled media was used. I have plenty of media in my 125g sump from the big tank. Used treated water to fill tank. Filled the FX4 and other big SunSun canister with tank water from the 360g plus the cycled media. Ran for two days and tested 3 times, 0 amm,0 nitri, and 10ppm nitra.
