Getting new pump need some help deciding

well my tanks 160G's and im going to get a new pump i want it be well over what is necessary for it to pump into the filtration because my fish are generally more dirty. i was thinking a 2000 gph would be good but is that too much? will that create too much flow for my tank size? let me know thanks!

im a big fan of rio pumps...
ive got a rio 14hf on my 100 gallon (2 feet of head)
rio 32hf on my 220 (5 feet of head)

the quiet one pumps and mag drive pumps are also pretty darn good..


as for 2000gph being too much... depends on your stock and how you have it set up (spray bars and the whatnot)
