i am trying to get my bass of feeders. i have been able to get them to eat krill and they did it for a few days then started to just spit it out. my question is how long is it safe to starve them if i want to get them to eat pellets? I can get them to take the pellet but they just spit them out right away.

trust me they'll eat it when they get hungry enough. Pbass are one of the most stubborn fish to get onto pellets. One thing to consider though is when they get big it's really hard to find a high protein pellet that's large enough to feed a pbass. I feel your better off to get them onto frozen foods and call it good.

My P's are only about 5 inches, and still need live food, but try Hikari Massivore Pellets, i heard there a good replacement for live food.......Good luck.

I got 2 of my 4 bass off live food and onto market shrimp. The other 2 won't touch anything but live and its been the same for 6 months almost. I decided last week that they will either eat shrimp or pellets or starve.

i starved my 10'' mono for like 2 weeks before his ass finally started realizing krill=food

now he splashes water out of the tank when i throw it in from hitting it so hard
