getting pbass in canada?

hey, im still waiting to hear back from a lfs about the list i gave him to see what can be ordered, hes doing me up a price sheet with sizes etc etc but I get a good feeling from what he was saying he wont be able to get his hands on any pbass .. im interested in smaller species that 2x will be fine for in a 225 gallon (along with aro, gar, bichir, etc).

anyone know anywhere in canada that these bad boys are available? or anywhere not in canada that could ship to canada? ya never know, i might luck in and the lfs be able to get them for some reason but im assuming not so might as well start looking

ebay might be able to ship, type in "peacock bass cichlid". or you can send him a message on ebay and ask.

Hey acura, i live in canada myself and am a huge pbass fan! i currently have 6 myself and have gotten most of them from here and there trades with friends. However there is a town called markham where they have a store called lucky aquariums and they tend to get lots of different pbass in from time to time. im not sure if they ship but its worth a shot. I just picked a 2" temensis up from there last week. where in canada are you located? Markham is located just outside of toronto

I'm in NL so thats not too far from me. the killer with the states sellers is the shipping costs are way over the top to where i am. i did find some orino's on a site for 18 each (36 for the two) then 60 bucks for shipping. im lookin at 100 bucks for the pair at 1" ish .. or 130 ish for 3-4". im just seeing what else is closer etc to save a bit on shipping under that.
