getting reticulate rays today, any tips?

if you know what to feed and their requirements, tank size etc.... just keep their tank nice and clean as suggested above. Just like any other fish ... And be careful.

Its important to keep them eating. Were they eating at the place u bought them from? If so continue feeding them the same. Keep the water clean and enjoy your rays.

imo carbon just takes up space that could be used for bio! Carbon is good to remove meds. I dont use it otherwise

do u suggest carbon in my filter?

This is why I said what I said. The basics of filtration should be known before housing rays. With that said, make sure you see the rays eat. Make sure they're healthy and as long as everything else is good with your tank, rays are pretty hardy creatures, even the retics
