I called a fish store the other day for a black aro, 5" and its 350
i no my aros n that is just way too over priced, any 1 in the Chicago area that have any leads 4 a black aro?
 
Well as hard as they are to find, it seems to me that the fish store has it priced right. Simple laws of supply and demand.
 
You can chose to not buy it. It's their item to sell, so they can ask whatever amount they want for it.


If they want too much, they can keep it. It's pretty simple.
 
I have two black aros, but I think the smaller ones are harder to find because it's not legal to export them out of south america. The bigger ones are easier to come by because they can pass for silvers.

Good luck with your search. Why do you want it so small? They all loose there colors as they grow anyway
 
if you want it buy it if not walk away no point in moaning about the price

i know for a fact if i was looking for a fish high and low and one came up i wouldnt be moaning about a few $$$ even $100 over priced if i wanted it would buy it
 
check aquabid or buy and sell forums.. You will find them.
