I have had my Gold Nugget for about 3 weeks now and i haven't seen him eat anything yet. I offered zuc, squash, algae waffers, bloodworms, brine...and he just stays on the glass, so im getting worried that he isn't getting enough to eat...any suggestions???

he has no signs of stress, water parameters are great...i think im showing more signs of stress then he is...lol...but for real. man, this is harder then when i was training my pbass to eat pellets....;(

Do you have some kind of driftwood in there with him. GN need wood to eat for their digestive tract.
I picked mine up about 4 -5 weeks ago and he was eating not even an hour after acclimation. He was eating Bloodworms, Brineshrimp, sinking pellets and flakes.
He might not feel comfortable feeding with the lights or try something floating to diffuse the light. Lots of current with clean water is also something they prefer.

i thought Gold nuggets is one of the species that didn't eat drift wood?

It doesn't necessarily have to be driftwood all plecos need some type of ruff age for their dietary tract. While it is true that GN tend towards a meaty (protein diet) they still need some type of greens and/or fiber within this diet. While Driftwood isn't a requirement, I see my GN constantly on my driftwood grazing.

Not essential, but wood is definatly beneifitiary to the plecos. For feeding, add a piece of wood. Try bloodworms and cut pieces of krill. That's what I use for my L-14.
