Well my CRB came onto shedd about 2 weeks since almost now and he still is on sunday night/monday he went back to normal and he still hasnt shed, he's a good feeder so offered him a mouse on monday he turned it down whilst looking interested, and i offered him a mouse again today and whilst still acting interested has yet again turned it down.

I have autisum and servere anxiety problems and everyday since he started shedding ive been worrying will he shedd ok and feed ok and its really upsetting me now, i used to worry the same way with my BCI.

Tbh im considering selling him and getting a blue tounge skin, im just getting concerned now :(

what is a CRB, Bruce?

Columbian Rainbow Boa, Miguel.
Have you upped the humidity? Does he have a semi-rough object to break the skin on his nose with? Snakes clear up right before shedding, and then break the old skin on their nose using a rough object to start the shed.

Mine goes pale, then back to normal for a few days before it sheds. When did it last eat? I wouldn't worry, unless you can see bits of shed hanging off him, he's probably just building up to a shed.

Ive increased humidity and been spraying him, he does have a rough object and he ate a week and a half ago but to be honest i always worry if he will feed or not.

as long as he is at a healthy weight to begin with, missing a feeding or two isn't really anything to worry about. as long as he is behaving normally otherwise he is probably fine

Snakes can go months and months without feeding, try not to worry so much. If he is kept warm, and you offer him a mouse that you've defrosted in warm water, he should feed without problem when he's ready.

Sounds completely normal to me Bruce. All snakes move at different schedules but almost every one I have worked with has gotten cloudy and milky looking then cleared back up for anywhere from a day or two to 2.5 or 3 weeks before they actually shed. Try not to worry about it, sounds like you are giving him what he needs and he is just taking his time with the shed...it happens.

Also...as Paul said, a healthy snake can miss many meals with no real issues. I would probably give him a week or so before offering food again (sometimes a mouse in the face is more of an annoyance than anything to the snake) he'll eat after he sheds. I regularly (about 4-5 times a year) skip a normal feeding with all of my snake that are over a year old just to let them "clean-out" and have done this for years with no ill effects at all noticed.
