I've found the key!

Guaranteed to work.

I figured out that if I just drop pellets into the tank, they show absolutely no interest in them. Even if they havent eaten in a few days.

You'll need the room to be lit up well. Sit back and toss the pellet up into the tank... the lower you are and the higher the toss the better your chances are.

They see the pellet "fly" up and this gets their attention. Then before it even hits the water, your pbass will have swallowed it down.

You'll notice not every toss will be successful, but this is a very good way to get them started on pellets.

Try it and let me know what you think. Good luck!

Sounds funn but messy if you dont have aim. I hope someone will try this soon. I'm very curious to see if they all do it or if you just have some tentative bass.

Tossing a 2mm pellet into a even a 10g should be easy, but you'll be surprised how many pellets end up on the floor.

Who cares, its worth it when you see that damn skinny pbass finally take the bait!

and the cat/dog will take care of the pellets on the floor anyways.

yeh that would work..i dun even need to try it to tell u that..my tems chase flys over the glass, a lil pellet would resemble a fly hitting the water..

lol but that was what i did to get my first peacock bass on pellets. ill throw them in the tank from far away and it splashes so i think the bass think that they are live feeders :)

Oh man, my girlfriend's gonna love this. I can see it now:
"Just what the hell do you think you're doing?" "Well, honey, I'm getting my monos to eat pellets" "Well, you're making a mess! Now get the hell off the floor and clean this mess up!! You suck at basketball, what makes you think you can get any pellets in a fish tank!!??"

End of story.
