GF Brought this fish home, have no clue help?

I was referred to this board from another fish forum only because my question was unknown there.

My GF brought home some new terror and put it in our community tank before reading what it was, or asking the store.

Here is the problem it is a monster, in the two days I wasnt home when she added it, it ate:
1 Glass Cat Fish
2 Tiger Barbs
1 Balloon Belly Molly
and it killed one of my emerald puffers.


Here is a picture of it, any idea what it is?

I think it is a Marbled Goby, I don't know the scientific name. Looks cool....I think it's a brackish fish...

Found the scientific name: Oxyeleotris marmorata, and it is a brackish water fish from Singapore if that site I just read wasn't B.S.

How big does it get?

I found out the hard way it eats anything smaller than it.

I dunno their max size but i've seen ones close to a foot before.........They will eat everything and anything that they can fit in there mouth ........

I have one of these. I think they are great fish. Get to almost 2 feet.

Mine takes down anything up to two thirds it's own size.

I agree, mine ate some Rainbows at least 2/3 it's size.
