I would like to know which of the countless KH/GH test kits on the market are considered to be the best.

I'd imagine API since most of us use that for everything else!

I dont know that it is the "best", but API seems to work just fine. Just dont get anything with the strips you dip in the water they save a few dollars, but are not very accurate in my experience and have very short shelf life.
