Ive kept a ghost knife ages ago but he was only small compared to rest of tank mates, Barramundi and bigger plecos. The barramundi ate him soon enough.

I was going to buy a 30cm one and house it with with a 20cm jardini, 25cm salmon catfish, 2x 15cm sharks 15cm pleco 30cm pleco.

Now was googleing some info about them and read 2 peoples comments that they took the eyes out of cichlid tankmates and killed them a few days later?

I dont want to end up with this problem, just asking is this a 1 in 100 thing or is this a common thing for these guys to do when they have size over other tank mates?

All BGK's are wild fish, they're is a great possibility it could happen, do some research on the fish that share the same enviroment they do, I know that SA Angelfish go well with them.

i have observe this to be normal, later they will eat fishes that can fit unto their mouth

I had one in QT w/another fish & the other fish was missing an eye the next day.

Holy cow, I've never heard of this before. I always thought BGKs were peaceful with fish too big to eat.

Lol, well its quite common, but my BGK is to small to pick on the other fish atm, but when he gets big enough, his going into a 180 galleon with some clown loaches and lots of hiding spots.
