hey just a quick question do ghost knifes have an eletric shock defence system i have one about 10inchs long

They use a tiny bit of electric to hunt for food, not for defense. If you see two "electric" fish come close to each other and back off quickly its not due to them actually shocking each other but rather them just "getting crossed signals" from the other fish.
