  1. can they be with clown loaches, given the loaches are big? im just worry that the loaches might be too active for the knife
  2. can they be with delhezi polypterus? ive heard that ghosts nip at everything since their blind, r they really blind or just bad eye sights?
  3. how fast do they grow? how long will a 60g last?
  4. floating freeze dried shrimps, pellets possible as food? difficult to wean onto pellets?
  5. if i turn my tank light off, but leave my living room light on, will the ghost come out?
  6. anything i should know before gettin one?
  7. also i have some 1.5" datnoids, the ghost im lookin at is 4- 5". good right?

yes
depends on size but usually yes
idk but 60g shhould be ok depending on tankmates
yes but frozen bloodworms should be used when they are being picky
yes
diet is the biggest thing they can be picky at first
should be ok as dats grow slow and the knife will never grow big enough to eat them

A BGK would do fine with the Clown Loaches, you shouldn't have any issues.

They should do fine with Delhezi, not positive, but if you're worried about the Delhezi I wouldn't be. As long as the Knife is larger than the mouth of the Delhezi, he should be fine. ;) They have bad eye sight, but are not blind. Had mine with a 5" Senegal Bichir for a year, no issues.
how fast do they grow? how long will a 60g last?
They grow very slow, and would be fine for years in a 60-Gallon. They grow fast up until around 8 inches, then slow down drastically. What I do know is that my BGK was at 4" when I first got him, and recently passed due to a filter issue at 8", two years later.
floating freeze dried shrimps, pellets possible as food? difficult to wean onto pellets?
Both food items have been accepted by BGK's once before. Not sure when mine started eating pellets and flakes, but I guess over time as I fed the rest of the tank flakes, etc. the BGK just started eating whatever food item was put into the tank.
if i turn my tank light off, but leave my living room light on, will the ghost come out?
It might work, but it might not. Worth a try. ;) Once mine started to get larger he was out for often.
anything i should know before gettin one?
They can be very aggressive towards specific species of fish, so tank mates should be researched before being put with these guys. Mine always had an issue with certain Catfish and Blood Parrots. :D

As I have never had experience with Dats, I am not sure of that question. IMO, it would be a risk of them either nipping at the Knife, or opposite way around.

Depends, normally the larger they are the more aggressive. An example, if you have had two together for a long time since they were around 4", you may see minimal aggression. Now, if you have one in a tank for awhile, and introduce another, that is when you may start to have issues. ;)

:iagree:
I introduced all 5 of my BGKs into my tank when they were 3-4". They have since grown to about 10-12". There will always be a pecking order but mostly playful chasing. They are amazing to watch with just led blue moonlights on--an aquatic ballet!

Sorry to disagree but you might have problems with the clown loaches. If there is any kind of dispute, the clown loaches have vicious spines and have been known to severely scratch other nocturnal fish.

Also BGK's actually have very good eyesight, and will react to things going on outside the tank.

If you want them to come out when the tank lights are off, try hand feeding them. They usually dont take long to hand feed if you hold the food at the mouth of their 'cave' and will often get bolder if you start increasing the distance so they have to come out to get the food.

Most that I've owned have hand fed, some - including my current one - is straight out as soon as the tank light goes off, and comes up to the surface to hand feed. But a lot depends on tankmates. They can be 'shy' with certain other fish in the tank, especially big cichlids (understandable?).

IME they'll grow about an inch per month up to about 9-10" with good feeding, then as Hoyo12 says they slow right down, and from then on they grow in spurts. I feed mine prawns, cockles, worms, sinking pellets, massivore (will produce a growth spurt when first added to diet), and frozen bloodworm.

Only thing I can disagree on. ;)
BGKs have poor eyesight, you can easily look that up. But they have their electrical pulse to detect food anything that goes into the aquarium.
