will ghost shrimp mess with my RT fry if i get some to act as clean up? i wanted to get something besides snails but wanted to make sure they wouldnt harm my fry first, also do they eat algae to or just detritus? i am also planning on breeding them for food for my cichlids, do they need anything special to breed and do the babies need any kind of special care? any advice is greatly appreciated
thanks:D

BUMP, what do you guys think? i want ot go and get them but wont if they will hurt the fry, they are little over 2months old so like 1.5cm i think?

Ghost shrimp are scavengers, its possible they would go for some small fry though I doubt they would decimate all of them. They are omnivore/scavengers so will eat anything basically. The adults may predate on their own young, so make sure to have good hiding spots (moss or guppy grass is really good for this).

oh ok kewl thanks yeah i think the fry are big enough to be ok but ill wait a little longer to be sure
