Ghost shrimp as feeders

Can I feed ghost shrimp to my 3" jardini or do they have the spikes like some other shrimp?

my gar love them. i dont think thier is any issues about them.
shrimp will clean some algae and stuff before they get eatten so win win. plus the algae will give some more nutrients

Aren't they a bit expensive for feeders? Seems like around here they're like .79 each, considering their small size it seems like there'd be better options, My turtles get spoiled with market shrimp and bay scallops.

They're fine for feeders.I have some angels that love them. Only cost about .7 cents a piece down here.

rav, some stores have them around that much. others are alot cheaper. i live near That Fish Place and i think they are about 12 cents apiece there. i think 25 cents at my petsmart

Ten for a buck here and they rock for feeders. I am a bit paranoid about disease transfer so the bichirs dont get them but all the other preds do

nope...only "ghost shrimp" i can find on their site is a saltwater guy that's 49.99 ea...little expensive, i'll have to check petsmart though, think you said they were cheap at yours.
