Until yesterday I had been unable to get my retic to eat anything but black worms. Yesterday I threw some ghost shrimp in the tank and after the ray conquered his fear he devoured them.

I want to set up a 10 gal with ghost shrimp to supplement the black worms. What fish, crustacian etc. will co-exist with the ghost shrimp.

Thanks
Gary

well if you go the smart way here i would be ordering ghost shrimps by the 1000s and at that point a rubbermaid container would be better... also feed this shrimps some good pellets to increase there nutritional value

I agree. You can't breed them if you keep fish with them cause the fish will eat the babies. You'll get more out of it if you keep them by themselves and feed them lots of prepared foods/pellets.

I agree with what everyone has said. But I will add that ghost shrimp arent the easiest shrimp to breed. Reson being that teir babies go through a larval stage. I "think" the babies need some salt during that time and I also know its kinda hard to feed them at that small.

Best method is cherry shrimp. Its a bit expensive to get started, but they dont go through the larvae stage and their parents wont eat the young.
