Ghost shrimp molted help !

so he molted and now he just lays on the side and moves from time to time. is this normal

How long since the shed? Saltwater or freshwater ghost shrimp?

Freshwater. Hes doing better now he just seems exhausted

I see. Not too familiar with FW ghosts but I'd just give it some time before he perks up again. The water quality more or less the same throughout its tenure in the tank? That would be my only reason for concern.

Well I did a water change right before he molted. He's fine now he's happily swimming around with everyone else in the tank

It takes alot of effort for an invert to go through a molt. I think it will be fine. A good tip is to leave the exoskeleton in to munch on to regain lost nutrients.
