ghost shrimp?

I got about 60 ghost shrimp, and about 10 of them had these white squggily stings in there head and stomach. I toulk the ones out that had this and threw them away. I'm just curious as to what is it and is it harmful if my fish ate the shrimp with one in him?

I have some non feeder ghosties in my community tank and I watch them eat and poop from time to time. They usually have a large mass/blob of stringy stuff in their stomach/heart and a string of poop running down their back. If you watch them long enough, you can see them poop and it's quite interesting.

IMO, you have nothing to worry about for ur ghosties... but hey what do I know.

Just checking, because im worried my fish will die because they are eating them.
