Is it possible keep a Colomesus psittacus in the large tank (576 l.) with a Panaque sp. "Papa" (L), 2 Polypterus palmas (large-size), 2 Gobioides broussonnetii (S), 1 Gnathonemus petersii (M), 3 Eingemannia viridescens (M?), 1 Gymnothorax tile (S)? Is there a possibility of conflicts? I have read that Colomesus psittacus are peaceful and lively, but...they are puffers:)! Are they really peaceful fishes? How long can they became? I heard that can reach 25 cm.

colomesus psitticus is not available in the hobb, I've not seen it at all. and its a brackish fish, until i see a picture, i will not believe its available.

colomesus asselus, the smaller one is, its pure freshwater, but very tolerant of salt. they are a bit nippy though. peaceful towards faster fish, but likes to nip at fins of those that move slow. this fish is often mistaken or mis identified as colomesus psitticus

Ditto on the rarity of this fish. It would be wonderful if someone got some in, but I've never seen one and they appear, by all accounts, to not be collected. My understanding of psittacus is that it is not a proper fw fish, rather brackish to full-strength salt. If you do find one, please put up some pics!
