We are living in Katima Mulilo (Namibia) on the border between Zambia and Namibia, on the southern bank of the Zambezi river. We have a wonderful facility called Namwi Island Self catering & Accommodation which is as close to typical African as could be. We have this dream of constructing a huge tank / aqarium on our premises as a landmark attraction and which will should host all the fish species of the Zambezi river. We have 11 bream species, barbell (catfish) and the king if the Zambezi, the Tiger Fish on our doorstep. If these could be accommodated in a tank with attractive, high standard finishings and exceptional care, it would be a firts for Namibia and a winner for our visitors.
I have come across the Monsterfish website in my search for information and I have a strange feeling that I might have struck gold. We are looking for building specs, hints and tips on keeping fish in this manner, everything. We can hardly keep our excitement. Space , water, building material, etc., is not a problem. Only thing we want to know, is HOW.
