Yeah, he's still a little fish, just not as little as most other bettas! He might be 2.5 inches with finnage, I haven't actually measured him. But he does make an imposing inhabitant if you go a day without seeing him and suddenly notice a big, thick metallic blue betta swimming toward you!

Well, I saw my fish playing in the sunlight a few mornings ago and took a lot of pictures of them. Plenty were good, but this one just seemed extra interesting so I thought I'd share it.

Little guy passed away suddenly yesterday. No signs of illness, not dropsy or any of the usual warnings bettas give. I'll miss him.
