giant borneo python eel

i was wondering if a borneo python eel about 7" would get along with my 8" fire eel in a 85 gallon tank with lots of caves made from mopani and malaysion driftwood for a couple mounths until i get a bigger tank but i also want to know how rare it is to find and how much it would probably cost?

Last time I heard about something with a name like that, it turned out to be a Synbranchus marmoratus. Which are quite aggro....

Synbranchus are South American, Monopterus is more likely, as they are Asian.

it is a spiny eel from borneo and south east asia it is in the same family as the tire track and fire eels

It has yet to receive a formal species name. However, the current name is; Mastacembelus sp.cf.circumcinctus. The wild max size is listed as just under 10". Only experience and time in aquaria will show its captive growth potential.
